Treasury Wine Estates was recently introduced as the new name for the Foster’s wine business; marking a very significant day for the brands and people who make up our business.

Our new name represents a global stamp of excellence in international wine and employees of Treasury Wine Estates will be the guardians of a cherished wine heritage. The name was chosen to reflect the treasured brands in our global portfolio. We have 20 wineries and 50 wine brands under our stewardship and these produce some of the most rewarded and collected wines from Australia, California, France, Italy and New Zealand.

From here on, every employee will embrace a new designation for themselves. As of today, we are each and everyone vintrepreneurs. And every vintrepreneur will be encouraged to have one foot in the boardroom, one foot in the vineyard and a focus on the global marketplace. This designation couldn’t be a better fit to the role we envisage for our new Treasury Wine Estates Wine Ambassador.

Our mission is to imbue every bottle we sell with our brands’ histories. The new Treasury Wine Estates Ambassador will help us to share this knowledge whether it be with a sommelier or a pub-owner, an industry figure, a hotelier or a waiter, a supermarket manager or bottle-shop server to create in them legions of ambassadors too.
