George is our current Wine Ambassador, a veritable vat of wine knowledge and industry savvy. He has been with the business for a number of years raising the profile of our extensive wine portfolio and as a result Australian wines.

Rarely seen in the same place twice, a week might see George at Penfolds Magill Estate on a Monday, at Wolf Blass on a Tuesday, Matua Valley on a Wednesday, Coldstream on a Thursday and back at Foster’s Southbank office on a Friday! With such a big, busy schedule it makes sense for us to look for a like-minded individual to join the team and help him drive the success of the wine business.

How does George know so much about wine? It didn’t happen overnight. This is a role he has been doing for a long time, working closely with our winemakers and industry figures to grow his understanding and be able to educate our sales team, retailers and buyers across the world.
